SAINT AUGUSTINE AND ACCOMPANIMENT

Augustinian formation for vocational formators and promoters in their practice/apostolate of accompaniment and discernment

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION / ADDRESSED TO:

Workshop designed for vocational formators and promoters, religious, consecrated and seculars, who practice the ministry of accompaniment and are interested in deepening their knowledge of Saint Augustine and the art of accompaniment.

If helping to grow in vocation and faith is part of your ecclesial service. If you are interested in modulating and exercising accompaniment in the Augustinian style.

This is your course.

METHODOLOGY:

There are three modules. You will have two synchronous online meetings, one opening and one closing (from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Spanish time), and asynchronous study time with explanatory videos and personal readings. At the end, a practical exercise will have to be delivered.

The materials will be available on the platform to be downloaded.

CONTENTS:

Module I: “He mixed with them (sermon 232,3): Augustine and the art of accompaniment”. (Bruno D’Andrea)

Module II: “Spiritual accompaniment in the letters of Saint Augustine”. (José Manuel González Durán)

Module III: “Workshop on the Augustinian interiority”. (Lucilo Echazarreta)

FACILITATORS:

Bruno D’Andea: Argentine. Augustinian Recollect formator of temporary professed religious in Monachil, Granada (Spain). Degree in Patrology and Theology of San Agustín.

José Manuel González Durán: Spanish. Prior of the OAR San José community, Madrid. Formator for many years, composer and singer-songwriter. Trained in moral theology and spirituality.

Lucilo Echazarreta: Spanish. He resides at the San Martín de Porres Augustinian school in Lima (Peru). Writer of books on Augustinian spirituality.

Upon completion you will receive a certificate from the In Imum Cordis School.

COST:

25 euros, or its equivalent in other currencies. The donation covers the technical and academic management expenses of the course and contributes to the social projects of Arcores Internacional.
